This very unusual silver & garnet necklace has a twisted bar and double link chain with a hook fastener is English and was probably made in the 1970s-80s. The large central drop is attached to the chain and comprises 5 tapering textured bars of silver of varying lengths the tops of which have round and oval cabochon cut garnets in rubover settings.The back of the drop is stamped "Silver" & "TJM" which is believed to be for Trevor J Marsh who was based in Bath. A dramatic piece of jewellery.
